S.M.S. srl has highly qualified and certified staff able to operate with equipment suitable for the realization, welding and installation of on board metalwork in carbon steel, stainless steel and light alloys for structural applications or the outfitting of machine rooms or the exteriors of yachts.

The company also specializes on the design, production and installation of ship names and logos in shiny stainless steel with LED retro lighting according to the Clientele’s personal requests.

The LED technology has also been applied to internal illumination for marble finishes.

Our collaboration with naval shipyards has increased over the years thanks to the diversification of the services we offer clients. The team also has specialized work teams for:

1. installation and assembly of traditional or waterjet propulsion systems and of axle and steering lines;
2. installation service systems (seawater, hot / cold water, firefighting) as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
3. programmed technical maintenance of yachts in navigation (for example, the five yearly inspections for the renewal of the Class required by the Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas and RINa) ;
4. refitting with interventions carried out in Italy and in the ports of the Mediterranean;
5. production and installation of ship names and accessories with LED design backlight.
